- A Solutopus foi reconhecida como entidade que presta CONSULTORIA, para além de poder ser parceira em Projetos de diversa índole. - Alargamos o nosso espaço de análise aos domínios da juventude, do empreendedorismo e da cultura, mantendo a nossa matriz de atuação original

O que é que fizemos?

- Participação como formadores no Curso sobre “Tecnologias Sustentáveis e Segurança Alimentar”, com o Módulo: “Segurança alimentar - indicadores e perceção da população”. Foi um Curso da Universidade de S. Paulo (Brasil) e a nossa participação foi enquadrada na colaboração que o cE3c/Faculdade de Ciências- Universidade de Lisboa teve na organização do mesmo.

- Participação na iniciativa “Momentos Covid”, da responsabilidade do CICS.NOVA.UÉvora; colaboração com este Centro de Investigação noutras iniciativas.

- Participação no GNAD- Grupo Nacional de apoio à discussão do Horizonte Europa.

- Colaboração com empresas, como é o exemplo da Shimejito, em Portugal (https://shimejito.com/pt/). A BGI (Building Global Innovators) também fez parte do nosso trajeto.

-Participação em iniciativas diversas, nacionais e internacionais, onde destacamos a atividade no âmbito do EIP-AGRI e no seminário sobre a pequena agricultura e as oportunidades para o seu desenvolvimento (Bucareste- Roménia, 10/2019)

- Foi completado e apresentado o relatório final do Grupo Focal do EIP-AGRI sobre “Florestas & Clima”, no qual nos orgulhamos de ter participado. Convidamos a uma leitura do documento em https://ec.europa.eu/eip/agriculture/en/publications/eip-agri-focus-group-forest-practices-and-climate

- Participamos num encontro internacional sobre Economia Circular no âmbito agrícola. Ficámos com a certeza de que hoje este tema é, mais do que nunca, atual e apela à consciencialização sobre o mesmo e a subsequentes ações. - Participamos como formadores no Curso Intensivo organizado pela FCUL sobre “Solos e Serviços do Ecossistema”. O tema abordado foi a organização profissional dos empresários agrícolas, a forma como são tecnicamente aconselhados e cuidados a ter para inserir as medidas que promovem a defesa do ecossistema nas ações do quotidiano.

- Interviemos em várias iniciativas da Faculdade de Ciências- Universidade de Lisboa (Nutriplanta; actividades de cE3c; colaboração na elaboração de candidaturas a Projetos; Cursos)

- Estabelecemos contactos com associações de desenvolvimento, COLABs (laboratórios colaborativos agregando diversos tipos de entidades, públicas e privadas) universidades e empresas, visando presentes e futuras colaborações e iniciativas conjuntas

- Colaboramos com a Rede Rural Nacional no grupo de trabalho temático:” Dinamização dos Territórios Rurais "

- Participamos, pela 3ª vez como formadores no Curso avançado “Soil Ecology and Ecosystem Services”, da responsabilidade do cE3c- Faculdade de Ciências. O tema por nós abordado foi “Desafios societais dos serviços do ecossistema”. Este Curso é uma boa oportunidade de por em contacto pessoas de diferentes origens académicas e profissionais, promovendo a discussão de temas relevantes e atuais. - Contribuímos para a finalização e entrega do Relatório Final do Projecto “PolRura- Políticas, Ruralidade, Diversidade e Desenvolvimento” (https://polrura.soilecos.pt/), coordenado pelo cE3c- Faculdade de Ciências/U. Lisboa. Sentimos particular orgulho neste trabalho, porquanto ele representa um olhar crítico, mas construtivo, sobre aquilo que tem sido a aplicação do PDR2020. Desta forma, está aberto o caminho para que o próximo Programa de Desenvolvimento Agrícola e Rural possa ser mais bem implementado, promovendo uma maior eficácia na aplicação das ajudas financeiras. -Participámos em debates e sessões de diversa índole: Ciência 21; Seminário sobre o papel das mulheres na ciência e na gestão, aliado a questões de género (no âmbito do Projecto www.soildarity.eu); Horizon Europe Virtual Summit; European Research Days, entre vários outros. -Diversificámos a nossa atividade, assumindo também a vertente de produtores dentro do sector agrícola; - Estamos ativamente empenhados na preparação de propostas de projetos de investigação a Programas nacionais e comunitários (FCT; Compete; PRR; Horizonte Europa; Acordo Verde). - Contribuímos para a divulgação de Projetos e de iniciativas, em colaboração com o cE3c, em Plataformas como a Rede Rural Nacional ou a Rede Europeia para o Desenvolvimento Rural, entre outras.

Our Path

-Solutopus was recognized as an entity that provides CONSULTING, in addition to being a partner in different types of projects. - We have extended our field for analysis to the domains of youth, entrepreneurship and culture, while maintaining our original matrix of activity.

What did we do? 

The year 2021 was challenging, at various levels, continuing the trend that had been seen since 2020. The uncertainties of the European and world economy and politics were an important element to extend waiting times, in decision on projects and in activities and implementation plans. In any case, opportunities also arise that are important to respond to – Solutopus has modestly tried to do so! -In the 2nd half of the year, the Horizonte Europa and the Recovery and Resilience Plan (Portugal) programs emerged in force, among several others, and, in this context, we are present in national and international consortia that have submitted applications to them. -We also reinforce our attention and participation in the activities of the EIP-AGRI, where various representatives from multiple entities, linked to the rural and agricultural areas and regions, converge - ex.º "EIP-AGRI Seminar: Turning forest innovation into practice" - November/2021. -On behalf the activities of the CE3c- Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, we were invited to collaborate in the execution of the PDR2020 Project “JobToc-Youth in rural territories: opportunities and constraints” (https://jobtoc.soilecos.pt/).

-We participated, for the 3rd time, as trainers in the advanced course “Soil Ecology and Ecosystem Services”, under the responsibility of cE3c-Faculty of Sciences. The topic we addressed was “Societal challenges of ecosystem services”. This course is a good opportunity to put people from different academic and professional backgrounds in contact, promoting the discussion of relevant and current issues.

- We contributed to the finalization and delivery of the Final Report of the Project “PolRura-Policies, Rurality, Diversity and Development” (https://polrura.soilecos.pt/), coordinated by CE3c- Faculty of Sciences/U. Lisbon. We are particularly proud of this work, as it represents a critical but constructive look at what the application of PDR2020 has been. In this regard, the way is open for the next Agricultural and Rural Development Program to be better implemented, promoting greater efficiency in the application of financial aid.

-We participated in debates and sessions of different natures: Science 21; Seminar on the role of women in science and management, combined with gender issues (under the Project www.soildarity.eu); Horizon Europe Virtual Summit; European Research Days, among many others.

-We diversified our activity, also taking on the role of producers within the agricultural sector.

- We are actively engaged in the preparation of research project proposals for national and community programs (FCT; Compete; PRR; Horizon Europa; Green Agreement).

- We contribute to the dissemination of projects and initiatives, in collaboration with the CE3c, on platforms such as the National Rural Network or the European Network for Rural Development, among others.

- Participation as trainers in the Course on "Sustainable Technologies and Food Security", with the Module: "Food security - indicators and perception of the population". It was a course at the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and our participation was part of the collaboration that the cE3c/Faculdade de Ciências- Universidade de Lisboa had in organizing it.

- Participation in the “Momentos Covid” initiative, under the responsibility of CICS.NOVA.UÉvora; collaboration with this research centre in other itens.

- Participation in the GNAD - National Group to support the discussion of Horizon Europa

- Collaboration with companies, such as Shimejito, in Portugal (https://shimejito.com/pt/). BGI (Building Global Innovators) was also part of our path.

-Participation in various national and international initiatives, where we highlight the activity under the EIP-AGRI and at the seminar on small-scale agriculture and opportunities for its development (Bucharest- Romania, 10/2019)

- We participated in an international meeting on Circular Economy in the agricultural field. We are sure that today this issue is, more than ever, current and calls for awareness about it and subsequent actions. - We participated as trainers in the Intensive Course organized by FCUL on “Soils and Ecosystem Services”. The topic addressed was the professional organization of agricultural entrepreneurs, the way they are technically advised and the care to be taken to insert measures that promote the defense of the ecosystem in everyday actions.

- We participated in various initiatives of the Faculty of Sciences - University of Lisbon (Nutriplant; cE3c activities; collaboration in the preparation of project applications; Courses)

- We establish contacts with development associations, COLABs (collaborative laboratories bringing together different types of entities, public and private), universities and companies, aiming at present and future collaborations and joint initiatives

- We collaborate with the National Rural Network in the thematic working group:” Dynamization of Rural Territories "
